ASSIGNMENT GOALS - THIRD GRADING PERIOD

Creating a Elements and Principles Book

1. Out of 6 pieces of paper create a book.

   1. Fold the 6 pieces of pager in half long ways.

   2. Have Mr. D Staple the book together.

2. Create a cover design with the words "The Elements and Principles of Art and Design."

3. Leave the back of the cover blank.

4. On the first page create a design using the words "Created by and your Name"

5. Leave the back of the the Created by page blank.

6. On the next right hand page Create a design using the words "Elements of Art and Design".

7. Turn the page and begin creating a design for one of the Elements on the back of the Elements of Art and Design page. On the bottom of each page write the definition for each word or incorporate the definition into the design of the page.

8. The last element should be on a left page. On the page across for it Create a design using the words "Principles of Art and Design".

9. On the back of that page continue as you did with the elements creating a design to illustrate the meaning of each of the The Principles of Art and Design. Don't forget to write the definition of the word at the bottom or incorporate it into the design.

1. On the first work sheet place the appropriate color in the boxes provided.

2. On the back in color pencil carefully fill in the color wheel.

3. On the second color work sheet - fill in the color schemes as directed.
