- Do a spooky Holloween shot Due with unit 6
- Really Creative and unusal framing technique.
- Horizon line exploration. For the same subject and scene take 3 pictures that show the horizon line.
- Take one each of the horizon line placements below.
- The three Placements are:
- High - very close to the top of the page,
- 1/3rd from top,
- Low - very close to the bottom of the page. This is achieved by just tilting the camera up or down. However you may need to change angle to get a good picture.

- Class Assignment -
- Shot a glass item with the light coming through the textured background.
- Shot something of your choosing using the textued background as the background. The lighting is up to you.
- Pick one of your Pictures and make 3 completely different prints from the same negative using different creative croppings.
- Do something creative with a paper bag.

UNIT 8 |
- PhotoShop tutorial
- Playing with backgrounds. Using a small subject , find a background that will both contrast with the subject and have some relationship with the subject. The relationship could be in color or shape. See how creative you can be and come up with something that really works together.
- Concentrate on how far away you take your pictures. for each subject you should First take one picture from far enough back to be able to see the important things around the subject. Think about how you place those things in the frame. Second take a picture of all or most of the subject. Think format. Third take at least one close-up of your subject. How does the distance from the subject change the way you experience the picture? Which do you like best? Does the best distance to take the picture change from subject to subject? Place your best 3 of the same subject in the folder and name them... your name1, your name2, etc.
- Create an interesting shot using the natural objects Mr. D has for you. Think about lighting, texture, and shape and form.
- Create and interesting shot using Repeated shape and variation design with material Mr. D has for you. Think about contrast of background and rhythm.

- MID TERM - Create a web page with your 10 best works. This can be a web gallery done in PhotoShop, but each file MUST be LABELED with a number 1 through 10 (1 being the best) and your name. This must be turned in the day of the final before class is over.
