Mr. DietrichÕs Class rules

The purpose of all classes is to give the student the opportunity to learn and grow both as a creative and a thinking human being.  Learning takes place best in an environment of mutual respect.  The following rules have been created to remind everyone of what it takes to maintain mutual respect.

 

Rules

 

1. Be prepared for class!  

2. Be respectful and courteous to yourself, your fellow students, your teacher, and the supplies and equipment.

3. Protect the safety of yourself and others.

4. Follow the teacher's directions promptly.

5. Follow all rules and regulations in the student handbook.

 

 

CONSEQUENCES IF A STUDENT CHOOSES TO BREAK A RULE

  1. FIRST TIME: Verbal warning. or referral, depending on the rule.
  2. SECOND TIME: One page hand written summary on a given subject due at the beginning of the next class.
    1. If not turned in, a two page summary will be due at the next class.
    2. IF not turned in a referral will be written.
  3. THIRD TIME: Two page hand written summary on a given subject due at the beginning of the next class and the parents will be contacted.
    1. If not turned in, a three page summary will be due at the next class.
    2. IF not turned in a referral will be written.
  4. FOURTH TIME: Referral written to the vice principal.
