ADVICE TO FURTURE AP STUDNETS

Choose a broad subject for your concentration so that you aren't limited in what you can take pictures of. The less specific your concentration matter, the more options you have. Twelve pictures might not seem like a lot, but it can be tough to do.

Also, it's crucial for you to remember that this is a DESIGN class. Mr. Dietrich says that all the time, and you're probably going to ignore him when he tells you that (I did too, at first) but believe me that design is a more critical aspect of this class than photography itself. Honestly, with the help of photoshop, you can make take any boring, half-decent photo, and implement elements of design in it. Photoshop is really fun to mess around with, and some of my favorite pictures came from what I initially thought of as photoshop mishaps.
