  3. Create 6 lettering styles using your name using thick lines.

  4. One motif using lettering with thick letters

  5. Design Techniques #2 - composition/Name design

  6. Motif overlapping (Opaque/transparent) and color placement.

  7. Four practice compositions on newsprint paper using rectangles to represent your motif - must use some transparent and opaque overlapping.

  8. Final name project in pencil

  9. Final name project using warm and cool colors to create the composition and center of interest.
